Life After Stroke, Peterborough - Monthly Meeting - Wed. Nov 15, - the Ennismore Garden Club will be holding their Annual General Meeting and Potluck Dinner at 6pm .The Club will provide the meat and members should bring their plate,cutlery,mug and their appetite.Following the  installation of the 2019 Board of Directors we will have a demonstation of a Christmas arrangement by Yutta Pulzer.

Bridgenorth United Church - Remembrance Day Service on Sunday  November 11th at 10.30am  - recalling and honouring the service of so many in times of conflict.


Bridgenorth United Church - Silent/ Live Auction   Saturday, Nov 17th from 11am to 1:30pm. Bridgenorth United Church, 832 Charles St., Bridgenorth. Bid on an amazing collection of brand new items as well as services and entertainment items.  Again this year is a kayak valued at $645.00 to be auctioned off between 12 and 12:30. This popular action features something for everyone with something happening every minute. Find your early Christmas gifts. Pop a balloon with a valuable surprise inside! Stop for lunch at the Tasty Lunch Bar. Come early and bring a friend.


Once again, the ‘One Stop Christmas Shop’ Vendor event is happening on Sat. Nov, 17th from 10:00 am till 2:00 pm at the Lakefield Legion.  Admission cost is a non-perishable food donation to support the Lakefield Food Bank

St. Matthew-St. Aidan Anglican Church, Buckhorn,  1937 Lakehurst Road (across from the Locks)  presents Christmas Tea Sat.Dec. 1, from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m.  with  Christmas Arrangement demonstration by Victoria Whitney of Griffin’s Greenhouses.  Fancy Sandwiches, delectable sweets and a variety of teas will be served.   Coffee and hot apple cider too!   Admission only $10.00 at the door.

Tickets are now available ($30 and $20 for students/unwaged) for the annual fund-raising dinner of the Peterborough chapter of Canadian Women for Women in Afghanistan (CW4WAfghan), Sunday, Nov. 18 in the Guild Hall at St John’s Anglican Church on Brock Street. Doors open at 5:15 p.m. with dinner at 6 p.m.
