Celebrate Robbie Burns Day   Thurs. January 25 at Activity Haven, 180 Barnardo Avenue, Ptbo.  Our truly Scottish menu in honour of Robbie Burns for this event will be Scotch pies, mushy peas, chips, sticky toffee pudding, and tea/coffee. Tickets for this event are now on sale for $8, with ticket sales closing on Tuesday January 23 at 4 p.m.  Our event will be highlighted with bagpipers providing entertainment from 11:30 a.m. until noon.  Lunch will run from 11:30 a.m. until 12:30 p.m. Kilts are welcome attire for this event.

Get your goggles ready! The 32nd Annual Rotary Carl Oake Swimathon, in support of Easter Seals and Peterborough Rotary Club projects, will take place on Friday February 16th, 2018 at 7:00 am at the Peterborough YMCA.  Together we can reach our goal of over 40 teams participating and raising $50,000. Awards will be given to the Top Team Fundraiser, Top Individual Fundraiser, and the Wackiest Dressed team. Activity Haven - 180 Barnardo Ave., Ptbo proudly presents a huge Snofest Bingo evening on Friday January 19 at our Barnardo Avenue location. Ten games of Bingo, with a top prize of $200., for only $15 a person. Our canteen will be serving home made chili with a roll, along with Bread Pudding and coffee/tea. Canteen opens at 5:30 p.m., Bingo starts at 6:30 p.m. This event is open to everyone.


Community Care is celebrating it’s 30th Anniversary with a party and a $30 for 30 fundraiser at the Legion (10 Nichol’s street) on January 24th from 4-6 pm.


Spend the day with us, thinking GREEN!  A Day for Gardeners is for the new gardener who is not quite sure where to start or the home owner who loves to garden and would like to find out more.
