Buckhorn Spring Craft Show opens the tourist season

The 27th Annual Buckhorn Spring Craft Show at the Buckhorn Community Centre, Victoria Day weekend, May 17-19 is recognized as the one show in the Kawarthas no one wants to miss!

The outstanding quality and variety of the items on display make a visit to it a must.

This Craft Show offers the unique opportunity to purchase one of a kind gifts for those people on your list who may have a birthday or wedding in the near future, or maybe, because you are worth it, a treat for home or garden.

The Craft Show is pleased to welcome approximately 120 artisans from all areas of Ontario featuring the very best selection of Canadian handcrafted seasonal, country, traditional and contemporary crafts.

This year’s show is pleased to showcase over 30 new exhibitors making their debut in Buckhorn.

Among the many items that will be on display are candles, nightgowns, pottery, leather goods, gourmet foods, furniture, florals, wooden toys, stuffed bears and dolls, children’s clothing, jewellery, designer clothing for the entire family, handmade soaps, blown glass and a wide variety of home décor items.

Also featured will be items for your garden – metal butterflies or flowers to enhance your flower beds, wind chimes to soothe you at the end of the day, birdhouses to house your feathered friends, trellises for your roses and vines and stepping stones.

The Craft Show is an annual fund raising event for the non-profit, non-funded Buckhorn Community Centre and is run by many volunteers who build the exhibitor booths, man admission booths, park cars, direct traffic and serve in the snack bar.
